VOICEOVER BIO

Gwendoline has voiced over fifty games and cartoons. At a San Diego Comic Con, her character Shinigami in Nickelodeon’s TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, was launched. She voiced another iconic role from the TMNT universe, Karai, in Nickelodeon's RISE OF THE TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES and Lady Shiva in the DC animated series, YOUNG JUSTICE. She also voiced Tsiao Jung in the Emmy Award-winning series, LOVE, DEATH & ROBOTS. Four action figures are based on characters or roles voiced by Gwendoline: Paine from FINAL FANTASY X-2, Cato Parassiti in STAR WARS: CLONE WARS, X-MEN’s Domino & Lady Deathstrike. She was the first female and Asian leads in SOCOM 4 as 45 and Yuma in FAR CRY 4, in which she performed her own motion capture. She has been nominated for 3 BTVA awards - Best Actress for Shinigami, Ensemble in FAR CRY 4 and BATMAN DARK KNIGHT RETURNS PART 2.


Notable characters include Movie lead & love interest Li-Mei in IRON MAN, Lola Chong in BATMAN DARK KNIGHT RETURNS 1 & 2 films, Series Regulars in Disney Junior’s SAFETY PATROL playing both Mom & Daughter Lulu, Hu Tindle in THIS JUST IN on Spike TV, Domino on Wolverine & the X-MEN & yes, even Grandma on STITCH. She’s recurred on BEN 10 as Nyancy Chan, STAR WARS: CLONE WARS as Nala Se, Jedi Kalifa, Cato Parasitti & others, guest starred on AMERICAN DAD, FAMILY GUI, KIM POSSIBLE, SCOOBY DOO, THE BATMAN, and PHINEAS & FERB. 


She sings as well, lending her voice to cartoons HIGGLYTOWN HEROES, THIS JUST IN, SAFETY PATROL & in the commercial world a jingle campaign for AT&T. She also booked a Hanes commercial campaign and done multiple other commercial jobs for the likes of Honda, Bayer & McDonalds. Her narrative work include hit audiobooks for The Joy Luck Club, Skinny Bitch & Suicide Club. Her promo work include spots for NBC and Memoirs of a Geisha.

Gwendoline's ear for sound developed starting her career as a musician. She graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a diploma in Piano and introduced the Chinese Zither to the school which was welcomed. She continued her studies of the Chinese Zither at UCLA ethnomusicology. She was invited by KCRW to narrate & score a one woman radio show on "The Politics of Culture" & opened for "Ryokk Sopp" at the Henry Ford Theatre. She still creates music on her favorite instrument that feeds her as an artist.
